| A: On the actual certificate there is only space available for four lines of data in the Description of Operations section. Since many construction projects for example, require very lengthy wording, an Addendum may be utilized that permits 55 lines of free form data to be input. The Addenda will always be attached to the specific certificate holder at the time the certificate is issued.
The same applies to the Attachment that is utilized for those customers with numerous named insured on their policy or to list specific exclusions, operations, or special coverages. The Attachment is completed by the administrator, cannot be changed by the customer, and is also attached to the Certificate of Insurance throughout the new and renewal issuance cycle.. |
